Saibaba Birth: 1835, Death: 15 October 1914, also known as Shirdi Saibaba, was an Indian guru, yogi, and fakir who is called a saint by his 121 devotees. There are no information available regarding his true name, birth, address, and parents. When he was asked in the context of his former life, he used to reply deftly. Devotees and historians agree that there is no reliable source available regarding the place and date of birth. It is known that he spent a lot of time with Muslim fakirs but it is believed that he did not deal with anyone on the basis of religion.

History of Sai Baba

One of his disciples, Das Ganu, researched the then period of the village of Pathari whose four pages have reconstructed Sai's childhood, also known as Sri Sai Gurucharitra. According to Das Ganu, his childhood was spent in Pathri village with a fakir and his wife. At the age of about sixteen, he reached Shirdi village in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, and remained there till his death.

According to the old lady of Shirdi village, who was the mother of Nana Chopdar, a young man who was found absorbed in a tomb under a very beautiful neem tree. At a very young age, people were surprised to see the child under severe penance. The child absorbed in austerity did not have any worry about winter-summer and rain. To see the self-confessed child, immense people started flocking.

This wonderful child did not accompany anyone during the day. He did not have any fear in the deserted atmosphere of the night. "Where did this boy come from?" This question confused everyone. That boy was very beautiful in appearance. Whoever saw him once would have the desire to see him again and again. They were surprised by how this handsome boy lives day and night under the open sky. He was seen as an idol of love and disinterest.

He never worried about insulting him. He used to live with ordinary people, watching them dance, listening to Ghazals and Kavali, and shaking his head and praising them. Despite all this, his tomb was not disturbed. He used to sleep when the world was awake, he used to wake up when the world was asleep. Baba never considered himself God. He considered each miracle as a blessing of God.

Return to Shirdi:

Saibaba Shirdi returned in 1858. At this time, he was wearing a different type of cloth, above which he was wearing a Kafni dress up to his knees and a cloth cap. One of his followers, Ramgir Bua, looked closely and found that Saibaba was wearing clothes like a businessman, his hair was very thick and long along with the clothes. When he came back to Shirdi after a long time, people got a new look of him. According to his costume, he looked like a Muslim Faqir and people considered him to be a guru of both Hindus and Muslims.

After returning, Saibaba lived under a neem tree for about 4 to 5 years and often went for long periods of time into the forests of Shirdi. Because of being engaged in meditation for a long time, he did not even talk to people for many days. But later, after some time people gave them an old mosque to live, they used to live there begging people and they're used to be many Hindu and Muslim devotees visiting them every day. Holy religious fires were also lit in the mosque which he named Dhuni, according to the people there were wonderful miraculous powers in that Dhuni, that Dhuni, Saibaba used to give prayers to his devotees before leaving.

Devotees and temples of Sai Baba:

The Shirdi Sai Baba movement started in the 19th century when he lived in Shirdi. A local Khandoba Punjari Mhalsapti was his first devotee. Till the 19th century, Sai Baba's followers were confined only to Shirdi and surrounding villages. Shirdi Sai Baba Sai Baba's first temple is situated in Bhiwpuri. Shirdi Sai Baba's temple visits 20,000 Shrudhalu daily and during festivals, this number reaches one lakh.

Shirdi Sai Baba Shirdi Sai Baba, especially in Maharashtra, Orissa. Worshiped in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat. In 2012, an unknown Shrudhalu first offered two precious Shirdi shrines worth 11.8 crores which was later revealed to everyone by Sai Baba Trust. Last day:

Tuesday 15 October 1918 was the day of Vijayadashami, Sayin Baba had become very weak. As usual, devotees were coming to see him. Sayin Baba was giving Prasad and Uri to him, the devotees were also getting knowledge from Baba but no devotee thought that today is the last day of Baba's body. It was 11 in the morning.

It was time for the midday Arti and it was going on. A Devi Prakash went into the body of Baba and Aarti started and Baba Sai's face seems to change every time. Baba showed the form of all the gods and goddesses to his devotees every moment. They saw the appearance of Ram Shiva Krishna Vital Maruthi Mecca Medina Jesus Christ.

Baba Sai said to his devotees that now you leave me alone. Everyone left there and Sayin Baba then had a fatal cough and vomiting of blood. A devotee of Tatya Baba was close to death, he is cured now, he did not even know what miracle he has cured. He started coming to Baba's residence to thank Baba but Baba's earthly body was left here.
